Here is a new sketch that I did of a few random people and things I saw on my way to work. I combined water color and ink to get a layered effect. The prints of this piece are selling, and other artwork using the same process on my etsy account Blockheadmui(etsy store). Each print will be one of a kind & stamped with my logo. A day at the beach...

Last Saturday I spent the day on the beach sketching and hangout with some friends. I liked the change in atmosphere and I tried to tell the story of the environment. It was good practice for life drawing even though people were moving a lot. Here is what I came up with.

Here is a new page from my sketchbook. I am using a new pen this time and it seems to improve my line work. Since its a thinner pen tip I have become more confident in what I'm putting down on paper.
